I2UD, together with our partners at Co-PLAN Institute for Habitat Development in Tirana, Albania have drafted a chapter to be included in a forthcoming publication dealing with e-governance mechanisms and urban policy design sponsored by UN-Habitat and FUPOL.
The Future Policy Modeling consortium (FUPOL) is a European Union project integrating innovative technologies into governance models. UN-Habitat was invited to join FUPOL as a full partner in 2013. The chapter, co-authored by John Driscoll, Dritan Shutina, Maren Larsen, and Aida Ciro focuses on the experience of the ECA Social Sustainability Audits undertaken by I2UD and Co-PLAN in five cities in the Balkan and draws lessons about marginalized groups in ICT-enabled governance. The book is set to be published this fall.
