I2UD and the World Bank Sustainable Cities Initiative SOCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY IN THE BALKANS I2UD and Co-Plan (Albania) are undertaking a Social Accountability Municipal Audit in five selected cities in Eastern Europe. The Social Audit aims to increase awareness of social accountability among city stakeholders and to strengthen the integrity of public services. The audit will assess the current social accountability mechanisms in place in the municipalities, as well as explore opportunities to develop new approaches and ICT tools that improve collaborative governance at the city level. | ||||||
