South Africa | Executive Education Seminars for Provincial and Municipal Officials
1998 to present
I2UD resumed in 2006 the highly successful series of Executive Education seminars first organized by Mona Serageldin while at Harvard. Attended by central, provincial and municipal officials in the Republic of South Africa, the seminars focus on local development and partnerships for economic and social development projects, participatory methods in urban planning and management; municipal finance of infrastructure and services delivery; and management of capital investment programs. Over 700 participants attended the ten courses offered in different South African venues from 1998 to 2004.
