Quito, Ecuador | Community-based Credit for Housing, Infrastructure & Microenterprises

USAID, 1995 CUDS worked with USAID’s Regional Housing and Urban Development Office for South America in Ecuador to assess the feasibility of expanding their housing credit program for lower-income groups into new areas of productive housing loans integrating infrastructure improvements and micro­enterprise development, in order to promote community-based development and self-reliance.
